Hello 2017

Art, Fashion and Designing is what makes my life more colorful everyday. Though I'm currently working as a Business Analyst in an IT industry, to be a Fashion Designer/Stylist is still my forever dream. I can still remember during my first semester I always cried at my aunt because I'm having a hard time to get a passing grade on math subjects. haha! I'm not mad at my aunt who pushed me to study BS Computer Science when I was in college. In fact  if it's not for her eagerness and sacrifices just to send me to a good University, I wouldn't be able to have a degree and a  land a job with a reasonable salary. I wouldn't be able to collect shoes and bought fashionable items online. haha!

But this little dream, my passion for fashion has started to grow deeper and deeper. When I was in college, my friends used to ask me about what to wear on their dates, debut, special occasions, etc. In that way, they helped me practiced my little dream. :)

Now that I'm 26, I think that it is the perfect time to do what I love to do. To pursue and be who I want to be.

Two months ago, I enrolled a fashion styling class at SOFA (School of Fashion and the Arts). After that I enrolled to their Fashion Styling Master Class and finished it last April.

Then suddenly God showered me clients for Engagement Shoots, Campaign shoots, Fashion Shows and even Celebrity Styling. I even entered the world of clothes construction and make up.

This year I wanted to continue what I started last year but turning it into another level.

I'm opening again this blog of mine. Assuring all of you that I will flood you with fashion stories. My journey into styling, sewing and even beauty product reviews and more.

Styled By Marse: The Modern Love - Erwin and Dazell

A Friend in the office got married last December and I was privilege enough to style their pre-nuptial photoshoot. The location was randomly chosen streets along Binondo and I know it will be very difficult. I never did a shoot in the streets before (even those photoshoot for online shops). But I just think of the learning and experience I will bring home after the shoot.

There are a lot of things you need to consider like your budget. Theme of your wedding. The location, if it will be accessible for your guest. How many guest the venue can accommodate. Are there hotels near your venue for the wedding day preparation. And a lot more.

Art, Fashion and Designing is what makes my life more colorful everyday. Though I'm currently working as IT  Consultant IT, to be a Fashion Designer/Stylist is still my forever dream.

"Do what you love, and love what you do."
Few months back, a couple friend asked me to style their prenuptial photo-shoot. I love fashion, styling, art, and everything that falls in the category. But when they asked me, I'm a bit hesitant at first, but if you have friend like them that trust you and believe in what you can do, who I'm to say no, right? :)

Resilient

Resilient. That is the name I got when I attended the Encounter Retreat in our Church few years back. I've been out of the radar for almost 7 months now, I think. I have a lot of reasons. But the bottom line is, probably the main reason is that I think I'm losing the passion for fashion. Losing the passion for my dreams.
Before you get angry at me and throw crumpled papers at my face let me defend myself. Its not I didn't do anything to re-gain it, I did, a lot of times actually. I tried to do a rebound. I tried to dress up every Sunday or even at work. I tried taking photos again for this blog. I tried to write about my summer vacation. I asked my fiance to edit my photos so I can start writing a new post. But may be we always come to a point that we just stop dreaming for a while and we wonder if those dreams would really come true. Its like you're losing hope and all you wanted is to see the future. We get tired of waiting for the right time.

But it's just amazing how God can change everything. How God can give you another hope, like a 101% hope that all you dream about will come true. Only if you trust Him and only if it's according to His will. He has His perfect time It is just amazing how He made me realize that all I need is to have a little faith, even if its like a grain of mustard seed.
Actually I don't know if I'm making sense here, but I hope I do. I just want to share what I felt and that I decided to be go back. Even if that means 2 blog post a month, or try to send my sketches to a fashion school or designer, or try to make fashion accessories again.

I guess we always go back to were we belong.
To what we are made for. <3

A Free Spirit

Took this photos about 4 months ago, when me and my Fiance are looking for the best venue for our special day.I'm feeling bohemian that day(as always.. hahaha) so I choose to wear this floral chiffon dress and a demin cover up vest. :)

Country-Rustic is the Theme!

Back to blogging this Tuesday evening. I just want to give you all a short and quick post before I get back to work. These past months, me and my fiancé were too busy in preparing for our wedding. (So yes, this is the reason why I'm missing in action on my blog for the past months.) We've chosen a date and agreed with the theme. Then we attended wedding fairs for us to have an idea on the suppliers we need and how much it would cost for us to achieve the wedding of our dreams. Biggest part of the preparation is to choose our wedding venue and caterer. So far we've been to 3 venues and caterers. Almost three months had passed and I can say that preparing a wedding is really tiring (physically, mentally and financially). You'll be overwhelmed with the ideas and different suppliers. There was a time we got headaches in computing and estimating our budget. But there are also perks of making the preparation.

Shine Bright like a Diamond

Sometimes we don't have to plan everything, because mostly, best things in life comes unexpectedly.

Like every other girls, I also dream of meeting the right man that will make my world move forward. A man who will make the butterflies fly inside my stomach. A man that is willing to throw his own plans and create new plans with me. A man that will teach me that loving someone is easy. A man that will accept me for who I was, for who I am and for what I dream to be. Hands that perfectly fits mine. Then one day that man will be down on one knee asking me to marry him and spend the rest of your lives together.

My Purple World

Happy Holidays Gorgeous! I know everybody is busy celebrating this season. Crowded malls. Partying left and right. Giving gifts. Visiting relatives. Vacation. So I'll just drop by and share with you what I wore during our shoot for Just Got Something online shop. I will tell you more story about the shop soon. But for now, welcome to my Purple World. :)

Friendship goes Down Town

Last month I had an early birthday celebration at my friend's rest house down South. This also became our barkada bonding since we haven't seen each other for a while because of our distances and busy schedules at work. We planned to roam around the city on our first day, but when we arrived at their place, the weather isn't that accommodating so we decided to bond inside the house, watch a movie, throw jokes at each other and of-course  food trip. On the following days God heard our prayers because suddenly the weather got calm. As planned, we looked for a resort where we can swim the whole day, took a lot of photos (funny photos), and also laugh trip videos while we were on the pool. Sadly, I don't have the copy of the videos that is why I can't share it with you. hahaha!

If Forever is Enough

Hello Ladies, October is here and I can smell the Christmas air already. Since I turned 23 last month, I believe that there are more opportunities that will be open for me and the journey of reaching for my dreams are just starting. As part of the things that I want to do and I want to achieve, I decided to join a online contest. It's the Forever 21 Threebies, My way. Yes, this is my first online contest and I'm really serious about this. haha! But sadly, for unknown reason my entry wasn't display or may be wasn't approved. :( But since I'm really in love with the garments and fashion pieces by Forever 21, I'd still share with you the photos and pasting the caption I wrote for my entry. haha!

Walk in Pair

Why does shoes always comes in pair? May be they comes in pair to endure the rough road and heat of the ground together. To enjoy the rain and to swim together through the flood. To protect both feet on what ever life may bring them. May be because they are made for each other. To fit perfectly on both feet.

Styled By Marse: Style and Inspire Project-Last Horray For Summer!

Heyah Dolls! I have this little backlog so please bear with me. Last summer, another styling opportunity was given to me through the Style and Inspire Project (S.I.P). Just to give you a little background, S.I.P was founded to inspire and to remind every lady that they are beautiful on their own way. We give a daily dose of tips for fashion and life's inspiration through our Facebook page. We also have an ongoing giveaway that gives a free make-over to ladies who deserves a day treat. I'm the In-house stylist of the team while my friend Jerose is in-charged with the make-up and Anj is our motivator/model. :) You'll know more about S.I.P on my future posts.

In collaboration with local online shops Women's Gallery and Vaintage Shoppe, Juliana Collection and Braccialetto Filipina, we helped out five(including Anj) girls in making their come true even just for a day. Let me share with you the photos made with our love, passion and hard works.

Comfort First

What did I wore during the Last Hurray for Summer photo-shoot is something we called "lazy outfit". haha! Just to be clear, I'm talking about the outfit and not me. I'm really excited for this new opportunity to style and inspire. But I knew that we will be shooting outdoor and I'll have a lot of walk, run, walk, run scenes during the shoot under Mr. Sun's love. That's why I came up with the most comfortable outfit so I can move easily around. Here's my super dress-down outfit for this photo-shoot. Remember, never exchange your comfort with anything.
